Drs. Nicholas Peppas and Krishnendu Roy were recently recognized during Faculty Appreciation Week as "Most Outstanding Faculty Member" in the ChE and BME departments respectively.
Drs. Nicholas Peppas and Krishnendu Roy were recently recognized during Faculty Appreciation Week as "Most Outstanding Faculty Member" in the ChE and BME departments respectively. This award is particularly special in that it is completely student driven. Any professor is eligible for nomination. The process is as follows:
* A bulk e-mail is sent to students asking for nominations and the results tallied
* Three professors are selected from each department as a result of that tally
* A voting website is created for students to select one faculty member from each department
The winners are then recognized with a plaque at the Faculty Appreciation Week luncheon.
