Professor Nicholas Peppas has been selected for the International Journal of Nanomedicine Distinguished Scientist Award. The Distinguished Scientist Award recognizes an established scientist who has made significant contributions to the field of nanomedicine. Peppas will receive this award at the 1st Annual International Translational Nanomedicine Conference in Boston, Massachusetts July 26–28.
The International Journal of Medicine is a peer-reviewed publication focusing on the application of nanotechnology in diagnostics, therapeutics, and drug delivery systems throughout the biomedical field. Reflecting the growing activity in this emerging specialty, the aim of this journal is to highlight research and development leading to potential clinical applications in the prevention and treatment of disease.
