Hannah Stealey, a second-year graduate student working in Samantha Santacruz's lab, was recently awarded the Department of Defense (DoD) National Defense Science & Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) fellowship.
The DoD awards graduate fellowships to individuals who have demonstrated ability and special aptitude for advanced training in science and engineering. The award will provide Hannah with three years of support while she uses brain-machine interfaces to investigate decision-making in an animal model of anxiety.
