Texas Engineers Work In Labs, Living Rooms To Invent Ventilator Shortage Solutions

Two recent biomedical engineering graduates from The University of Texas at Austin are now among a fleet of inventors who are attempting to create a more simple, low-cost breathing ventilators in light of COVID-19. Working primarily in their living rooms and using the tools they can, the two graduates are creating these emergency devices that would be used for a patient until a larger ventilator would become available.
