Biomedical engineering undergraduate students Sarah Propst and Angel Zubieta have been selected as award recipients from the Merck Engineering & Technology Fellowship Program.

Biomedical engineering undergraduate students Sarah Propst and Angel Zubieta have been selected as award recipients from the Merck Engineering & Technology Fellowship Program.

Each will receive a $5,000 tuition scholarship and a summer internship at a Merck manufacturing or research facility during the summer of 2012.

The purpose of the Merck Engineering & Technology Fellowship Program is to encourage the interest of undergraduate students in engineering and science-based disciplines. They also aim to provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art research or manufacturing environment.
