Professor Rebecca Richards-Kortum has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious 2004 Sharon Keillor Award for Women in Engineering Education from the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
This award, which carries a $2,000 honorarium and an inscribed plaque, acknowledges Richard-Kortum's seminal research contributions in cancer detection and optical engineering, as well as her teaching and mentorship.
