The University Co-operative Society and The University of Texas at Austin recognized biomedical engineering undergraduate Noor Momin with University Co-op George H. Mitchell Student Awards for Academic Excellence at a ceremony on April 30, 2015.
Noor Momin was one of three undergraduates to receive a second prize $3,000 award for her research on Designing Lipids for Selective Partitioning into Liquid Ordered Membrane Domains. Her research was supervised by Professor Jeanne Stachowiak.
The awards acknowledge undergraduate students nominated by their professors for recognition of their hard work and extraordinary contributions to their fields of study.
