The UT BME Undergraduate Research Poster Symposium occurs each long semester on the last class day, from 3:30-5:00 pm. In the spring semester symposium, the department supports a research poster competition with the Graduate-Undergraduate Research Union (GURU). Undergraduate researchers may submit an abstract for the competition (the deadline has passed). A select number of abstracts are chosen by a panel of graduate students in the BME department for the competition. 

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors chosen by a panel of BME faculty members and industry representatives. The winners will be featured on the UT Austin BME website and BME building displays.

2nd place: $200

3rd place: $100
