Biomedical engineering doctoral student Brandon Slaughter received the Excellence in Graduate Research Award for Engineering and Natural Sciences at a ceremony for The University Co-op Michael H. Granof Awards for Excellence in Graduate Educationon Wednesday, May 16.

Slaughter, who conducts research in Professor Nicholas A. Peppas’ lab, received a $2,000 award for his research in Temperature-Responsive Nano-Composites for Advanced Drug Delivery.

The Excellence in Graduate Research Award was established in 2001 to recognize outstanding research.
