Dr. Mia K. Markey has been selected by the Graduate Engineering Council to receive the 2005-2006 Faculty Appreciation Award. The Faculty Appreciation Award honors an Engineering faculty member who does an outstanding job as a professor and mentor. Selection is based on student nominations and the Council's review of service.
The Graduate Engineering Council will be presenting awards at next week's GAIN Banquet, which will be held on Tuesday, Jan 24th at 6pm in the UT Alumni Center.
