The deadline is absolute and all required application materials must be received by the Department of Biomedical Engineering by the deadline.Applications which are incomplete after the deadline cannot be considered. Please use the BME Graduate Programs Application Checklist (PDF).

Application Deadlines

Ph.D. Program               

• December 1st for Fall admission—Recommended
• March 1st for Summer admission—Faculty Nomination Required
• October 1st for Spring admission

M.S. Program

• December 1st for Fall admission only

The M.S. Program does not accept applications for Summer or Spring admission.

Sending GRE Scores

If you do not take the GRE before November, your official score reports will be sent to us after the December 1 deadline. Please unofficially report your scores in the department application by the deadline, and we can accept the official score reports late. The department should receive all other items for your application by the December 1 deadline.
