Interested in applying? Attend a Cockrell School Information Session followed by a BME sub-session. Questions can be directed to the Office of Admissions, which makes all undergraduate admissions decisions. Applicants can communicate with counselors about application status, decision, campus visit event registration, academics, financial aid, and housing.

Student Organizations
The Department of Biomedical Engineering sponsors several student organizations, including chapters of national organizations. Our student organizations are active and give aspiring engineers and researchers opportunities to collaborate on projects and give back to the university and community.

Need a safe walk home from campus?

SURE Walk is a student-run volunteer group that provides walks to and from campus to UT students, faculty and staff, with the help of student volunteers. SURE Walk is in service Monday-Thursday, 10 p.m.-2 a.m. during the fall and spring semesters.
