Creating a Legacy for Future BME Students Through the 10th Anniversary Student Giving Campaign.

In honor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering’s 10th Anniversary as a full-fledged academic department, the 2011–2012 senior class has launched a student giving campaign to raise money toward the establishment of an endowment called the BME Endowed Excellence Fund. Once established, the BME Endowed Excellence Fund will provide financial support for student programs, including:

• Scholarships for BME undergraduate students
• Experiential learning opportunities and collaborations with industry
• Research opportunities
• Conference attendance
• Future student-led initiatives
