Muhammad Zaman Receives Cockrell School Outstanding Teaching Award
Muhammad Zaman has received the Cockrell School of Engineering Award for Outstanding Teaching by an Assistant Professor for his exceptional and effective classroom instruction methods.

Zaman received this award in just his second year of teaching. Among his techniques for effective teaching, he implements anonymous monthly surveys to gain honest student feedback and to continually incorporate suggestions into his teaching style. To nurture understanding and intellectual development, Zaman’s classes study cutting-edge research and integrate real-life experiences in discussion to help students think outside the box in solving problems. The award is one of four 2009 Faculty Excellence Awards.
Please join the department in congratulating Dr. Zaman!
