Laura Suggs and John Zhang are among the latest recipients of the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) most prestigious award in support of junior faculty, the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award.
Suggs received the award for: "Designing Embryonic Stem Cell Culture Systems Based on Developmental Microenvironments in the Heart", and Zhang for: “Nano-plasmonic Scanning Probe and Microsystems for Controlled Genetic Perturbation”.
The CAREER award recipients "exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research within the context of their organizations' missions."
