Advising

The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) recognizes the value of each student's experience at The University of Texas at Austin. To that end, the undergraduate advising office serves as a valuable support network for all BME undergraduates and desires to ensure the success of all students within the department.

The department’s undergraduate advisors assist students in seeking a deeper learning experience and understanding in their field. Advisors provide academic support services and student-life enrichment resources to help each student succeed in his or her academic, professional, and personal goals. Academic advisors offer an open-door policy throughout the year, and are usually available on a walk-in basis during non-registration periods. The office provides resources regarding degree plans, industry and research opportunities, different academic programs, and scholarship information.

For additional information, please contact the Undergraduate Advising Office at (512) 471-4254.
