Research Focus
Using combined intravascular photoacoustic (IVPA) and ultrasound (IVUS) imaging to detect and differentiate vulnerable plaques; using gold nanoparticles as a contrast agent for IVPA imaging; designing the imaging system and combined catheters for combined IVPA and IVUS imaging.
