Prof. Mia K. Markey has been recognized with a UT Student Engineering Council Faculty Appreciation Award for the Biomedical Engineering Department. This award, voted on by students, is given out to one professor in each engineering department. Prof. Markey received her award at the faculty appreciation luncheon on March 29th. The Student Engineering Council is the representative body for undergraduate students in the College of Engineering.
