IGERT Spring 2008 Seminar Series
NSF Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship Program at The
University of Texas at Austin
The seminar series is an integral component of the IGERT program
which brings together IGERT students and faculty and provides a general overview
of the field from outside experts in industry, government labs, and academia.
Students participating in the IGERT Program register for this seminar course
(BME 197S) during their first three semesters in the program. The goal of the
seminar series is twofold: first, to provide students with direct information
about career opportunities in the field; second, to bring together students
and faculty from multiple disciplines on a regular basis.
All seminars are in ACES 2.402 from 1:00 - 2:00pm on Fridays unless
noted otherwise.
