Two Department of Biomedical Engineering staff members, Margo Cousins and Vicki Stratton, are a part of the 2008 winners of Cockrell School
of Engineering Staff
Excellence Awards!
Each year the Cockrell School of Engineering requests nominations
of outstanding staff members to honor with the School’s most
prestigious staff award. This year we received 14 nomination packets
of highly qualified staff and the selection committee has selected
the top six nominees to receive the 2008 awards. The objective
of the Staff Excellence Awards is to honor selected non-teaching personnel
who have distinguished themselves and who have contributed significantly
to the effectiveness of the teaching, advising, counseling and research
efforts of the School. These awards shall recognize those dedicated
individuals who are recognized by their supervisors and peers as having
performed exceptional and meritorious service.
All
of the 2008 winners will be presented the award at
a reception in their honor on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 3:00-4:30pm
in the 10th Floor Conference Rooms of ECJ. We
