Muhammad Zaman FEBS Young Investigator 2007

Dr. Muhammad Zaman received the 2007 Young Investigator Award in Matrix Biology of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) which is an umbrella organization of European biochemical societies (http://www.febs.unibe.ch/). The award was announced and awarded at FEBS' meeting in Patras, Greece, on May 26, 2007.

Muhammad was cited for his highly innovative strategies combining interdisciplinary and multiscale experiments and simulations in understanding cell matrix interactions.

These FEBS Young Investigator Awards are given upon nomination by the winners' academic institutions and are considered highly competitive and prestigious. The awards are given to highly promising young scientists who are within the first five years of receiving their doctorates.
