GRADUATE DOCTORAL PORTFOLIO PROGRAM
CELLULAR AND MOLECULAR IMAGING
FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND THERAPEUTICS
PROGRAM
OVERVIEW:
The Doctoral
Portfolio Program in Cellular and Molecular Imaging for Diagnostics and
Therapeutics is a certification program which provides a formal mechanism for
recognizing and rewarding students who obtain the broad educational background
necessary to become leaders in cellular and molecular imaging after graduation.
This program is an efficient and effective introduction to cellular and
molecular imaging for students from a wide range of scientific disciplines.
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:
Doctoral
students with a concentration in chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical
engineering, chemical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or
mechanical engineering may apply.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Only students pursuing a Ph.D. are eligible for the portfolio program in cellular and molecular imaging for diagnostics and therapeutics.
Admission decisions to
the doctoral portfolio program will be based on a combination of the applicant's
undergraduate record, recommendation letters, GRE scores, aptitude, and desire
to pursue a career in inter-disciplinary research and development. Consideration
will also be given to the applicant's research interest and how it matches with
