Areas of Responsibility

• Prepare specifications for setting up equipment in classrooms and laboratories
• Supervise issuance of supplies and equipment
• Oversee the classroom set up for lectures, demonstrations or experiments
• Maintain and conduct inventory of materials and equipment
• Supervise the construction, repair and maintenance of all laboratory equipment.
• Instruct students, teaching assistants, and faculty members in the use of equipment, and proper laboratory procedures
• Assist with set up of new lab facilities and inspect lab renovations
• Assist instructor and students research, develop, and present a working experiment
• Proctor exams and distribute course materials
• Collect ABET materials
• Assist students with their experiments and projects
• Keep lab manuals updated
