Areas of Responsibility

• Administration of graduate program
• Process graduate admissions
• Distribute information about BME graduate program
• Assist in student advising and registration
• Process fellowship nominations and other awards
• Archive and maintain student files and student database
• Coordinate GSC meetings; take and distribute minutes
• Plan and coordinate BME graduate student recruiting weekend, new student orientation, and fall picnic
• Prepare statistical reports
• Compile student data
• Process GRA and TA appointments (including all supporting documentation (I-9, W-4, etc. and submitting information to appropriate office (payroll, HR, etc.)
• Process tuition and fee payments
• Liaison between grad students/faculty/Office of Graduate Studies
• Grade Reporting
